Hoover U5453-900 WindTunnel Supreme Upright Vacuum Cleaner Specifications

Equipped with an embedded-dirt finder and Hoover's most advanced suction technology, this 1440-watt upright vacuum cleans a broad, 15-inch path illuminated by a headlight and provides handy storage for three onboard tools. The tools--dusting brush, crevice tool, upholstery nozzle--fit neatly into a storage compartment on the front. They attach to either or both 16-inch wands and a stretch hose (no tangles!) for a long cleaning reach. The embedded-dirt finder shows a green light when vacuuming ordinary dirt accumulation. A red light shows when extra dirt is encountered and additional cleaning strokes are needed. The machine contains two washable filters, one protecting the motor and the other cleaning the air returning to a room. Other features include carpet-height adjustment, edge-groomers to clean along baseboards, and a soft bumper to protect furniture. The vacuum uses a disposable allergen-filtration bag (Hoover Type Y, included), assembles with two nuts and bolts (included), and carries a 1-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
